Seminar – Je-Geun Park

On Monday, June 8 at 10:30 am (Auditorium TRT), we will be pleased to welcome Prof. Je-Geun Park (Seoul National University, South Korea).

Title:

“2D van der Waals Magnets: From Fundamental Physics to Applications”

On this occasion, he will present his work on van der Waals magnets, from the historical and theoretical context of two-dimensional magnetism to material families, spin Hamiltonians, and experimental platforms for probing magnetic excitations, chirality, and phase transitions. He will also discuss their integration into spintronic architectures, including reconfigurable memory, spin filters, and ultrafast switching devices.
